Rainmakers Shiraz Grenache 2004
Bright mulberry fruit on the front and a seamless balanced mid palate, with the great natural acidity lingering to a cassis succulent finish. A rich Blood Plum in colour. Well weighted with fine grained tannins from American oak. Wine Enthusiast This is pretty oaky, but features enough fruit to support the wood. There’s cedar, vanilla and a bit of coconut, but also some slightly stewed cassis. It’s creamy and thickly textured, with plush tannins and masses of vanilla—laden flavor. Drink now. Score: 88. |
